The French Alliance is a non-profit civil association founded by French humanists in 1883.
The French Alliance is a reference in the field of teaching French as a foreign language. The recognition of the certificates issued by the Alliance, both by the Embassies and by the French Ministry of Education and European groups such as ALTE, provide strong evidence of their high educational level and demand.

The Colombo French Alliance of Bogotá, turned 70 in 2014. The city of Bogotá has three locations, two in the north (Cedritos, Chicó) and another in the downtown of the city.
