Specialized Maternal Staff (ASEM)
According to the operation of the French Maternal School, the children benefit from the services of a specialized maternal agent, in each class. These personnel have a very important educational role with the children. They participate with the teacher in the supervision, hygiene and safety of the young students (class, snack, food, nap in a small section). They prepare and maintain the equipment for the activities and ensure its hygiene and storage. It is bilingual staff who can, under the direction of the teacher, supervise a teaching activity and be an integral part of the educational team. However, unlike the teacher, he is not responsible for teaching.
