The College has two cycles and is made up of four levels of classes: Cycle 3 in 6ème (5th of primary), and Cycle 4 in 5ème (6th), 4ème (7th) and 3ème (8th). Students attend school from age 11 to 14. Its objective is to offer a common structure of essential basic knowledge and their respective educational content.
This structure is distributed as follows: French, Mathematics, Foreign Language I, Social Sciences (Geography, History, Economics and Civic Education), Experimental Sciences (Physics, Biology, Geology and Technology), Art Education, Manual and Technical Education; and Physical and sports education.
The College is a place of formation for the person and the citizen of the future. At this stage, an education focused on discipline, responsibility, and respect for people, rules and the environment is essential. The student who enters this educational stage discovers new aspects: a different organization of time, more numerous interlocutors, new working methods. The priority is to ensure a relationship of trust between all members of the school community, that is, the students, their parents and teachers to strengthen and accompany their schooling. It is very important at school to acquire the knowledge and skills of a common structure and in its evaluation and artistic, cultural and sports activities.
